Aloha All,

We are home from the hospital today and have news.  We spoke to Mom's CCU doctor, Dr. Burton and he spoke to the pathologist twice this morning.  The report was not yet written but we know the results.  It is not good news but the news we expected.  Mom has lung cancer.  They are starting her first radiation treatment today to try and get this mass shrunk enough to enable her to breathe easier and get her out of the CCU.  She will remain there at least for a few days.

tomorrow I am hoping to get the treatment protocol and find out more details about the radiation treatments, frequency and if they will be using any other methods to fight this mass.
