Aloha everyone,

A quick update on the past week.  The big news is that Mom and Dad celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary yesterday.  What a wonderful thing for Mom to have her bff and entire immediate family here (including a surprise visit from Uncle Tom who traveled from Bahrain). You should have seen her when she said "Tom" in her loudest whisper. She was really happy.

Den arrived Tuesday for an extended stay and she is really glad to have him here as well.  The other night we sat in her room just Dad, Den and I and it has been a long time since just the four of us were together.

Mom is pretty weak and sleeps most of the time.  She has received so many cards, letters and we are all so grateful for your continued love and support.
