For those of you who have been following, Fridays have not been the best days for us.  Today is the exception!!

We went to see Mom today and our favorite nurse, Vicki was on duty.  She told us that they had come back from radiation, everything went well and she was moving rooms.  Yeah, Mom is out of the CCU!!  Although that is a wonderful thing we were all kind of sad to be leaving the nurses who for 3 1/2 weeks took such good care of Mom.  She even had tears in her eyes as they were wheeling her out.

She is now on the telemetry floor where they continue to monitor her vitals but she does not need constant care. Lunch came today and Mom managed to eat about 2/3 of her broccoli soup which was wonderful!! She looks like her regular self on a bad hair day, but we still need to get rid of the swelling in her arms and legs.  Her voice is still not much more than a whisper but she can communicate and is hilarious at times.

Every day we are seeing small signs of progress and are so grateful!  Thank you for your continued emails, calls and prayers.
