Aloha everyone!  All is well here. Today Dad and Konnie stayed home to clean house and Jim, Mark and I went over to see Mom.  Jim walked in with his Christmas hat and angel in hand and she really lit up when she saw Jim and Mark. I almost got her to let me post a picture of her in the hat but when she realized she didn't have her make up on she decided NOT!!

Thanks for all the cards and letters, I took them in and Mom really enjoyed reading them. They are now taped to the wall at the foot of her bed.   She had a busy morning, radiation, PT and respiratory all before we got there at 10:15, needless to say she was tired and we only stayed about 2 hours today.  It took me about half hour after arriving to realize that Mom no longer has any IV fluids. She still has the PICC (central catheter) line in her arm but that is good so they can give her pain meds and other medications as needed.

Tomorrow the plan is radiation and to try and remove some of the edema (swelling) in her legs by taking some strain off the clot in her right leg so it can drain better.
