Merry Christmas!  Two good Fridays in a row.  We all went over to see Mom today and she had a good day and for the most part was resting comfortable. 

We brought her an egg salad sandwich which she ate half of, and her favorite Haagen Daas dark chocolate ice cream. She is now sitting at the edge of the bed to eat her meals with the help of occupational therapy.  PT is also coming in and working with her.  The goal is to get this fluid out of her legs so that she can work toward getting stronger and be able to get out of bed and stand.

No radiation today as the hospital is observing Christmas today.  They will resume tomorrow and take Sunday off.

Today being Chistmas Eve was hard to walk out of there knowing Mom had to stay but we are so blessed to have her for Christmas and my greatest wish would be for her to be able to leave soon. Thank you all for your prayers and support.
