Another good day!  Today Dad and Greg spent the morning doing errands and I got to have a visit with Mom by myself for a bit.  She gave me a great birthday present...walked 6 feet with a walker and used the NuStep machine (picture a seated elliptical machine) for 3 minutes.  Her stand pivot transfers are also getting better.  The biggest challenge remains sit to stand but that's to be expected after five weeks in bed.

We brought in  home food again and of course Jamba Juice (our new daily staple). Later in the afternoon Mom was downgraded from acute to SNF (skilled nursing) status so it was a room change again. Hopefully this move will be better than the last one and hopefully it will be the last one before she comes home. 

Mom's last radiation treatment will be Thursday and they plan to do a CT scan tomorrow to assess the progress with everything.  Now the focus will be on rehab and getting her stronger so she can come home.
