Saturday - Christmas

Today was a good day and as you can see, we all got our Christmas wish!!

We walked in and Mom was visiting with Jim.  She had her Christmas hat and her make up on and was in great spirits today.  She has made up her mind that she wants to be home in two weeks.  Hopefully we can make that happen.  Mom sat up at the edge of the bed today and also in a wheelchair with OT today which is the first time she's been out of bed since she's been in hospital. She also had a  bit of a tuna sandwich today that Auntie K. made for her. 

No radiation and not a lot going today as it was Christmas.  We don't expect it tomorrow either but therapy will be in.  We are going next door for a huge dinner thanks to Jim and Mark and will be able to take some left overs to Mom tomorrow along with a Jamba Juice.  She's been talking about a turkey sandwich for the last few days so she'll get her wish.
