Does this even need a caption?! Today Mom stood up with PT and OT and down in the rehab gym (pictured) walked the length of these bars (4 ft)!! That brought tears to MY eyes. On her second stand she said to her therapist, "let's go" meaning she wanted to walk.
Mom also had radiation today, had a visit from her friend Nancy who she worked with @ Moore Interiors, Jim, Mark, Dad, Greg and I. It was quite the party in there. Mom ate the whole dinner we brought yesterday so today we got her another Jamba Juice, Mcdonalds filet-o-fish and fries. She drank the juice, ate most of the sandwich and part of the fries. Not the most healthy lunch but she loved it, and she ate. Tomorrow will be another day of turkey, potatoes and Jamba.
We picked up some things on the way home that Mom will need when she gets home and she's pretty motivated now so hopefully it won't be long.
